St Patrick's Parade


The annual St Patrick's Parade will take place this Sunday 12th March as part of the two week long Manchester Irish Festival.

GAELIC MASS Before the parade leaves the Irish World Heritage Centre, the annual Gaelic mass will take place in the Munster Hall at 10am. ST PATRICK'S PARADE The St Patrick's Day Parade will leave the Irish World Heritage Centre at 12noon and make it's way to the Manchester Town Hall. The first St Patrick's Day Parade left the old Irish World Heritage Centre on 17th March 1990 and paraded to St Chad's Church. IRISH CARVERY Sunday 12th March will also be the day the Irish World Heritage Centre launches the Sunday Irish Carvery in the Ulster Gallery. Servings are between 1pm - 6pm. Call us on 0161 205 4007 to avoid disapointment. LIVE MUSIC Live music all day with Damian Murden, Mick & Irish Rovers, Anita Ryan, Quare Craic and Peter Mylett. LIVE SPORT 11.30am, SPL – Celtic v Rangers 1pm, National Hurling League - Clare v Dublin and Waterford v Cork 4pm, PL - Liverpool v Burnley 5pm, O'Connor Cup - Ladies Football Final FUNFAIR All day entertainment including the funfair located on the site of the IWHC between 1-5pm.
